Our 2025 Honorary Host

 Jeanne Pierson

Ten years ago, at the age of 50, Jeanne Pierson received news that her mammogram was abnormal. With very few prior health issues, the news knocked her off her feet, but she was ready to fight. Jeanne put her trust in the oncology team at Mosaic Medical Center – Maryville and after surgery, radiation, and a five-year chemo pill, she was ready to live her life normally once again.

Fast forward 10 years to January 17, 2025, and Jeanne would once again receive an abnormal report on her mammogram. A new, more invasive type of breast cancer was confirmed from biopsy, but luckily stage one. Jeanne knows that early detection and quick reaction from “HER TEAM” were key in beating the cancer this time around.

Benefits For Our Community

Proceeds from the 2025 St. Francis Classic went towards new 3D mammography equipment, allowing us to care for more of these patients right here at Mosaic Medical Center - Maryville.

“We are truly blessed to have access to state-of-the-art breast imaging technology and skilled technicians right here in Northwest Missouri. We are proud to promote this vital campaign to further advance early detection and help save even more lives in our family and our community!”

Karen Miller

“Early detection is key. At Mosaic, you get a team when you are going through this so YOU ARE NEVER ALONE! They see you, they hear you, they walk alongside you, they care about you as if you are their only patient.”

Jeanne Pierson

“I’m living proof of how far breast cancer treatment has come and how critical early detection is. 3D mammograms can be the difference between catching it early and catching it too late. Help make this life-saving tool available to this community.”
