This nursing scholarship was established by St. Francis Hospital Foundation in memory of Robert J. Stoll and Lorena A. Stoll.
Description of the Scholarship
The Robert J. Stoll and Lorena A. Stoll Scholarship program is a competitive process, and all eligible applications will be evaluated.
Criteria for the Scholarship
The Robert J. Stoll and Lorena A. Stoll Scholarship will be awarded annually to a student enrolled in a class in an appropriate nursing program. The student’s permanent residence must be in Nodaway County.
The complete application must be submitted to the Mosaic Medical Center - Maryville Administration Office by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023.
Complete applications will include:
A completed application form with all requested information attached:
Official verification of current enrollment in a nursing class
The applicant’s completed personal statement and listing of healthcare-related activities
How is the Robert J. Stoll and Lorena A. Stoll Scholarship recipient chosen?
A selection committee is comprised of members from Mosaic Medical Center - Maryville leadership, St. Francis Hospital Foundation Board of Directors, and community volunteers. Applications will be screened for eligibility prior to being reviewed by the selection committee.

NOTE: It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all parts of the application are properly completed and delivered by the deadline date. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Nursing/Medical Studies Scholarship Application
The Mosaic Medical Center – Maryville Auxiliary Nursing & Related Medical Studies Scholarship program is a competitive process, and all eligible applications will be evaluated. Three scholarships will be awarded each year as funding is available.
